The Miz seemingly breaks WWE's cardinal rule at Bash in Berlin
WWE is banking predominantly on the main event showdown between World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and Randy Orton at Bash in Berlin. The German crowd was evidently favoring home country hero Ludwig Kaiser last night on SmackDown, so it is likely going to be a similar reaction for The Ring General, who made a name for himself in Germany during his early days wrestling.
Another prominent match on the card is Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes' title defense against Kevin Owens. Unusually, the two superstars are babyfaces heading into the event.
In the previous regime, nobody was allowed to mention 'babyface' or 'heel' on live television. However, with new management and a creative team led by WWE CCO Triple H, perhaps such rules have been relaxed.
The Miz questioned The American Nightmare's decision to hand out an opportunity to Kevin Owens. He claimed that deep down the champion knows The Prizefighter is "down on his luck" and saw an easy way out for the upcoming event.
The A-Lister added that Cody is not such a good guy as people may believe him to be, stating that Rhodes does all these "babyface" stuff like sign autographs and click pictures, but at the end of the day, it's about being a champion.

The Miz touched upon The Prizefighter's frame of mind heading into the event as a challenger who has not earned the right. Furthermore, with Owens not having held a world title in over seven years, a heel turn is not out of the realm of possibility.
