The New Day's shocking turn on Big E, predicts ex-WWE star, would lead to a major match at WrestleMania

The New Day's turn on Big E after WWE Survivor Series: WarGames was unexpected, to say the least. However, former WWE Superstar Aiden English predicted a major Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania, which Xavier Woods would win.

On the recent edition of Monday Night RAW, Big E appeared to save the day and offered The New Day to become their manager. However, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods didn't want it and stated E left them for his new life and turned on him by kicking him out of the faction.

Speaking on the Rebooked Wrestling Podcast, Aiden English, aka Matthew Rehwoldt, believed a Triple Threat between the trio is possible at The Grandest Stage of Them All. Moreover, he thought E and Kingston could help Woods to reach a new status as a singles competitor with Xavier Woods getting the win.

"I think it's very poetic [Triple Threat match at WrestleMania] because it doesn't even have to be for a title... Even if there's not a title on the line, just repeat that picture one more time with Xavier Woods up on their shoulders on a WrestleMania stage," English said. [From 53:25 - 54:06]

The New Day could turn face with the help of Big E, predicts ex-WWE star

The New Day has remained strong as a trio in the Stamford-based promotion for over ten years. However, Big E's absence has been felt in the past two years, as the former WWE Champion isn't able to compete inside the ring yet.

Speaking on the Rebooked Wrestling Podcast, Aiden English, aka Matthew Rehwoldt, thought The New Day would turn face in the future if and when Big E could return to competition. Moreover, the star's love and positivity for the duo would make them reunite once again.

"I think that will turn their hearts from the stone and melt the ice around them. I think the power of positivity; his love is so strong, he's going to win them over with love. He's not going to be the babyface beating them up," English said.

It'll be interesting to see what path Kingston and Woods take on WWE RAW heading into WrestleMania 41.
