The New Day's Xavier Woods reacts after getting heavily booed out of the arena on WWE RAW
The New Day was not welcomed on this week's WWE RAW by the superstars or fans. Notably, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods turned on Big E last week. Today, Xavier Woods addressed the nuclear heat from fans in Wichita this past Monday.
On the latest edition of WWE RAW, The New Day's Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods received a hostile reaction from fans for their actions against Big E. The duo tried to make a case, but the audience wanted nothing to do with the former tag team champions. The heels were eventually forced to leave the arena.
Meanwhile, Xavier Woods reacted to the segment from Monday Night RAW on X. The erstwhile King Woods called out fans from Wichita for disrespecting him and Kofi. The 38-year-old also hoped for a better reaction from the audience in Boston during next week's RAW.
"Wichita really showed their immaturity. Communication is the only way to move forward, but they let their emotions get in the way. This Monday in Boston I'm sure they will be far more mature," Woods wrote.
The New Day's Kofi Kingston addresses why he and Xavier Woods turned on Big E on WWE RAW
Earlier this month, The New Day's Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods shocked the world on the faction's 10th anniversary, as the duo turned on Big E and removed him from the faction. Many did not expect this and have been clamoring for Big E's return to in-ring competition.
In an interview on the Battleground Podcast, Kofi Kingston addressed why he and Woods turned on Big E, claiming they were left with no option. Moreover, he stated that he and Xavier made valid points regarding their former stablemate, adding they've been nothing but honest with the ongoing situation.
"Evil? I feel like it's a harsh word, man. Here's the thing: everything we said out there was true. We didn't say anything that was a lie. People didn't want to hear it, you know. They were mad that we said it. But there was nothing that came out of our mouths that was a lie. Everything was 100% honest. That's all it's ever been. We come out, and we never lie to the people," Kingston said.
It'll be interesting to see what the duo does next on WWE RAW.
