The New Day will break up after 10 years together, predicts female WWE star following RAW
The New Day has been going through a rough patch on Monday Night RAW. A female WWE Superstar predicted that the faction would break up soon.
The New Day has been in a rivalry with The Final Testament for several months now. Karrion Kross has been trying to get in Xavier Woods’ head and hoping that the latter would turn against his partner, Kofi Kingston. Scarlett now believes that the faction is close to imploding after the latest episode of RAW.
Odyssey Jones recently got involved in this rivalry. The big man teamed up with The New Day to defeat The Final Testament, but Woods has not been too happy seeing Jones come in and take the spotlight.
Jones helped The New Day pick up the win on the latest edition of RAW. Backstage, in a Digital Exclusive, Karrion Kross stated that he wanted to steal a van and drive it into Xavier Woods’ house. However, Scarlett noted that Kross had done enough to create doubts in the multi-time WWE tag team champion’s mind and did not need to do anything more.
"We could leave him alone. Think about it. You’ve beaten a former King of the Ring. You’ve beaten a former world champion. AOP has beaten one of the greatest tag team championship groups of all time. You’re like a parasite. You’ve laid eggs in their heads. You just have to let it rot. Things aren’t gonna turn out the way they think they are. You’ve already won. Everything you touch dies in time. So, just let it happen the way it’s supposed to. But, I see you have a lot of pent-up energy. I can take care of that," Scarlett said. [H/T Fightful]
The Herald of Doomsday agreed with Scarlett to end the interview. It looks like The Final Testament has come very close to breaking up The New Day after nearly a decade.
The New Day may have replaced Big E on WWE RAW
The New Day was among the top factions in WWE for nearly a decade. Big E joined Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston to create one of the most iconic trio in modern wrestling.
However, an unfortunate injury to Big E has put him on the shelf for some time. It is unclear whether he will ever compete in the ring again.
Odyssey Jones was recently introduced as an ally of the faction. He has assisted Woods and Kingston in defeating The Final Testament, but Xavier does not seem too happy with the 30-year-old star's involvement in this rivalry.
While WWE fans could see Kofi and Odyssey work together for some time, the 37-year-old star could betray them and go on a solo run. It has been a long time since Xavier Woods has done anything of note for himself since winning the King of the Ring tournament. He could prove to be a threat as a heel on RAW.
