The Rock gives a massive update on his WWE future

The Rock has provided a major update on his WWE status weeks after making a surprise appearance at Bad Blood 2024. The Final Boss has made it clear he was always ready to go back to the promotion if the right opportunity came his way.

The Hollywood megastar brought back his heel persona during the WrestleMania 41, which resulted in countless segments that's still fresh in fans' memories. Though The Rock left soon after Mania to shoot his acting projects, he did tease a showdown with Cody Rhodes down the road for the WWE Universal Title.

Plus, his appearance at Bad Blood 2024 further gave way to speculation if he was joining Solo Sikoa's version of The Bloodline after he confronted Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Cody. Amid this chatter, The Great One recently chatted with LADbible, where he discussed his future with the Stamford-based promotion.

The WWE legend mentioned that he was open to going back and not only contributing as an on-screen talent but also behind-the-scenes:

“Any opportunity I can to go back and not only make appearances, but help to expand the company, whether domestically or globally, I always go back. It's also part of my obligation that I happily do," he wrote.

Vince Russo thinks The Rock could face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41

A couple of days back on his The Brand podcast, Vince Russo discussed the direction WWE could head in with The Rock upon his return. Russo believes Triple H and his team could have The Final Boss return at Royal Rumble 2025 and win the Men's Rumble to set up a dream match with Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41:

"Mark this date down on your calendar please, November 7th, Vince Russo said The Rock was gonna win the Royal Rumble and he was going to face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania. Write that down," he said.

Considering just how much fans loved his heel run earlier in the year, it's safe to assume WWE would bring back The Great One in the same role.
