The Rock provides massive update on possible injury after WrestleMania XL
The Rock recently took to social media to provide an update on how he has been feeling after competing at WWE WrestleMania XL.
The Great One made an electrifying return to World Wrestling Entertainment at the start of this year. He aligned with Roman Reigns' Bloodline to enter a heated feud with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. He and The Tribal Chief then locked horns with The American Nightmare and The Visionary in a tag team match at WrestleMania XL Night One, where they emerged victorious.
The Rock recently took to X/Twitter to address any potential doubts about his health following his first match since 2016. He wrote that his body was banged up after the WrestleMania bout but fortunately, he did not sustain any injuries. The Final Boss further mentioned that he was starting his MMA training for his upcoming movie, The Smashing Machine.
"From the wrestling ring to the MMA cage. With WrestleMania behind me - my second training camp of 2024 begins tomorrow for my next role, in a film titled - The Smashing Machine. My body’s banged up from 'Mania, but no injuries, and feeling great - ready to go. Starting my MMA workouts tomorrow. I’m coming into this in pretty good conditioning and cardio shape, but MMA is a different animal. And Mark Kerr was a ‘one of one’ monster."
The Great One added that he was starting filming for his new project with deep respect and love for all MMA fighters.
"I run to this Smashing Machine journey with deep respect and love for all MMA fighters and the culture. Especially those who have struggled with addiction. I’ve lost so many friends [wrestlers] over the years from addiction and mental health struggle - from suicide to, it was just their time to go. This is my love letter to them. Let’s get to work."

The Rock sent a warning to Cody Rhodes before going on a hiatus from WWE
On the RAW after WrestleMania XL, The Rock interrupted Cody Rhodes' promo to send him a warning. The Great One acknowledged Rhodes' title win over Roman Reigns before saying he would come back to finish his story against The American Nightmare.
The Rock also handed something to the current Undisputed WWE Champion, which seemingly infuriated the latter. It will be interesting to see what The Final Boss has planned for his return to the global juggernaut.
