The Rock could be returning sooner than expected, WWE veteran shares the possible reasons (Exclusive)
Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell feels The Rock could be returning to the company soon. The Brahma Bull was heavily involved in the build-up to WrestleMania XL earlier this year.
The Final Boss was last seen on WWE TV on the RAW after WrestleMania. He confronted Cody and claimed that their story was just beginning. Rocky mentioned that he needed to step away for a while but would be back soon.
This week on the Smack Talk podcast, Mantell felt that Roman's return could influence The Rock to come back as well. He detailed that as WWE moves to Netflix in January of next year, the promotion could start a huge angle involving the biggest names in the company.
"When does Rock come back? [I think January for Netflix] That'll be good. I'd say a little bit before then. But they could work a big angle for Netflix, and I think that's what they'll do, too," the veteran said. [From 29:48 onwards]
Roman Reigns showed complete dominance on SmackDown this week as he laid waste to The Bloodline's Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.
It will be interesting to see where The Rock fits in this ongoing Bloodline feud on SmackDown.
