The Rock's cryptic warning message to Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes at WWE Bad Blood explained by veteran (Exclusive)
WWE Bad Blood ended on a cliffhanger as The Rock returned to confront Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes after their victory over The Bloodline. While The Final Boss did not say a word, he did a three-count gesture, leaving many confused. Wrestling veteran and Hall of Fame journalist Bill Apter explained what the silent message could mean.
The Rock had been away from WWE programming for the past several months. Many expected him to be the one behind Solo Sikoa's recent actions, and the same was seemingly confirmed at Bad Blood as The Final Boss stared down Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Jimmy Uso.
Real-life Bloodline member Lloyd Anoa'i was asked about his family member's actions during a chat with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Joe Lowry. On the Bad Blood Post-Show Review, Lloyd said he too was left puzzled.
"I am not sure. That got me little puzzled too, to be honest with you." [From 25:57 to 25:00]
Bill Apter then shared his thoughts on the situation, noting that The Brahma Bull just wanted to make everyone talk about his gesture.
"One. Two. Three and it’s over. What is he doing? He is making us all think about it. We are all thinking about it." [25:01 to 25:17]
WWE star Solo Sikoa seemingly confirmed that he has been working with The Rock
Solo Sikoa went rogue during Roman Reigns' hiatus from WWE and took over The Bloodline. The former Enforcer added three new members to the group while kicking out Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman. He even anointed himself as The Tribal Chief.
Many have speculated that Sikoa is secretly working with The Rock, and the latter is the mastermind behind the rising star's actions. Sikoa seemingly confirmed the same at Bad Blood, as he said "It's part of the plan" when the Hollywood star made his entry.
The Rock is not expected to be present on WWE programming in the coming weeks. However, The Final Boss has stunned fans on multiple occasions with unexpected returns and could do the same again. He is likely to be more regular during the WrestleMania 41 season and could face one of Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes or both in a Triple Threat Match.
