The Rock's daughter, Ava, seemingly wishes farewell to dear friend in WWE; sends emotional message
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's daughter Ava recently took to social media to seemingly bid farewell to her friend in WWE. The 23-year-old is the current NXT General Manager.
Ava gave her first WWE tryout in 2020 and signed a contract with the Stamford-based promotion in the same year. She started appearing on the company's developmental brand, NXT, as a member of Joe Gacy's faction, Schism.
After her stable was disbanded, The Rock's daughter became an on-screen assistant to Shawn Michaels. However, she was later announced as the youngest General Manager of the black and silver brand. Since then, Ava has been doing an incredible job on the developmental show.
The 23-year-old recently took to her Instagram stories to upload a photo with NXT's backstage producer Jim Smallman. In her post, Ava thanked Smallman, highlighting his behind-the-scenes role in Schism.
The star also seemingly bid farewell to Jim after the latter posted a cryptic story on his Instagram with a song in the background, saying "goodbye."
"From schism to mayor - thank you for all you do @jimsmallman," she wrote.

WWE star The Rock's ex-wife sent a message to Ava
The Rock's ex-wife and Ava's mom, Dany Garcia, took to her Instagram to post a heartwarming message for her daughter. Garcia wrote that the 23-year-old embodied "evolving strength" and also highlighted how she created her own path to become the youngest GM in World Wrestling Entertainment's history.
"MY DAUGHTER, like many Cuban women that came before her, embodies evolving strength. She has learned to show up powerfully and has cultivated her confidence, allowing her to carve her own path, and most impressively, take up space and speak her mind - Attributes that have served her well as the youngest General Manager in @WWENXT history," Garcia wrote.
Ava has received widespread praise for her work as NXT's General Manager. It will be interesting to see what Shawn Michaels has planned for the star's future on the developmental brand.
