The Rock's potential WWE return date pitched by wrestling personality

The Bloodline storyline in WWE has received a much-needed boost in the last few weeks, although, some major pieces are still missing in action. Wrestling personality Sam Roberts recently pitched a potential return date for one of the big names in this whole plot, The Rock.

The Brahma Bull last appeared on WWE TV on the RAW following WrestleMania XL, confronting Cody Rhodes and even teasing a singles match between the two. With The Rock and Roman Reigns absent, Solo Sikoa has taken control of The Bloodline, bringing in Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, and Jacob Fatu to the faction.

Speaking on the latest edition of the Notsam Wrestling Podcast, Sam Roberts predicted that the first RAW of 2025, which will be the red brand's debut episode on Netflix, could be "huge." He also put forward the idea of The Rock making his WWE return on the show:

"The first RAW of 2025 is going to be a massive show, the Netflix RAW. If I were to put money down, that first RAW of 2025 is where we see The Rock come back. I don't think The Rock is involved in Survivor Series: WarGames. I don't think The Rock is gonna be at the Royal Rumble. I don't think we're gonna be stacking up Rock matches. I think we're getting one Rock match and it's gonna be at WrestleMania," says Sam Roberts. [31:10 - 31:42]

The Rock has previously opened about about how he felt before his in-ring return at WWE WrestleMania XL

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson made his blockbuster in-ring return in WWE on Night One of WrestleMania XL, teaming up with Roman Reigns to take Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. The Bloodline duo eventually emerged victorious with The Great One getting the pinfall on Rhodes after hitting the People's Elbow.

While speaking with ESPN recently, The Rock said that he was nervous before the bout and he revealed how he managed to deal with it:

"All the nerves left my body, and all I could do was just close my eyes and breathe in the mana right in the corner, and that's what I did and it all went away. [Rocky chants began after the intro] I was very nervous about it, and the anxiety level was at a nice clip going in, and usually if you have anxiety, you have nerves with something big like that, that you poured your heart and soul into, that you have to go out and you have to perform and you get one shot, one take, that's it," The Rock said.

It will be interesting to see when and how The Brahma Bull returns to WWE, and if he competes in one more match in the sports entertainment juggernaut.
