The Rock shares heartwarming post after WWE Survivor Series: WarGames
The Rock did not make an appearance at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames in Vancouver, Canada last night. However, he was active on social media and shared an emotionally uplifting post on his Instagram account.
There were rumors that The Final Boss could show up at Survivor Series after the main event WarGames Match between The OG Bloodline and The New Bloodline. As the premium live event went off the air, there were no surprise returns or appearances and the show closed with The OG Bloodline and CM Punk celebrating their victory.
In a post on Instagram, The Rock shared a bunch of images from his trip to the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam camp in Oahu, Hawaii. He visited the men and women serving the country, giving them a special advanced screening of the movie 'Moana 2.'
Here's what Rock wrote in the caption of his post:
"My absolute honor to once again come back to scared land, and spend time with our soldiers and their families at JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM here in Oahu, Hawaii. Boundlessly grateful to all our military men and women & their families for their service. A great day to look you in your eyes and shake your hands and loved all the daps, hugs, tears and selfies too. God bless you, and your families. Forever a proud patriot as our freedom is our greatest privilege."
It's unclear if The Rock is still busy promoting 'Moana 2' or filming a new project. It will be interesting to see when The Final Boss returns to WWE and who he goes on to face at WrestleMania 41.
The Rock makes box office history with 'Red One' and 'Moana 2'
The Rock had a busy November with the release of two of his films in succession, 'Red One' on November 15th and 'Moana 2' on November 27th. He's still one of the most popular stars in Hollywood, making history at the end of the month.
According to Deadline, Dwayne Johnson is the first actor to have two No. 1 movies in the same month. There are other actors such as Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, and Tom Hanks, who achieved a similar feat, but nobody did it in the same month before Rock.
While 'Red One' is not expected to break the bank, it was the No. 1 movie in its first week. 'Moana 2' is much more successful commercially.
