The truth behind Liv Morgan's tears on WWE RAW may not be truly heartbreaking, says ex-employee
Liv Morgan was left in tears on WWE RAW after Dominik Mysterio told her to stay away from him, claiming he hated her and she ruined his life. However, a former WWE employee believes these may have been crocodile tears.
Morgan has tried to seduce Dominik in Ripley's absence. The Eradicator's return has not stopped the Women's World Champion from pursuing the 27-year-old. Last night on the red brand, Morgan was brought to tears when Dirty Dom ended things with her in front of his Mami by telling her he hated her and wanted nothing to do with her despite her claiming that men like him would be interested in someone like her and not Ripley. As he addressed the angle on the Behind The Turnbuckle podcast, former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci questioned the sincerity of Morgan's tears.
Carlucci, who spent multiple decades in the promotion, predicted that Morgan is playing both Ripley and Dominik. Meanwhile, he disclosed his desire to see the former Riott Squad member walk out of SummerSlam with the championship. Morgan will defend her title against The Eradicator in Cleveland:
"I think Liv is playing both of them right now. I don't know how it's going to turn out at SummerSlam. Man, it would be great for me if Liv kept the title at SummerSlam because I think everybody, everybody thinks Rhea is gonna win the title at SummerSlam," he said. [14:45 - 15:01]
Ex-WWE writer slammed Liv Morgan's performance on RAW
On Legion of RAW, former WWE head writer Vince Russo discussed the segment between Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio, and Liv Morgan. He slammed the Women's World Champion for her performance.
Meanwhile, Russo claimed that it was "obvious" that Morgan and Dirty Dom would turn on The Eradicator at SummerSlam:
"The Liv Morgan-Rhea Ripley stuff was so bad that even Michael Cole was laughing. Could they be any more obvious with Liv's fake cry face that it's all a setup, and they're turning on Rhea? Could it be any worse? Like she wasn't 1000% acting. How can a global mega-billion dollar company put on such bad television?" [From 2:23 onwards]
WWE Analyst Sam Roberts claimed the company must bring back Roman Reigns at SummerSlam if Ripley gets betrayed by Dominik and Morgan to cool down the fans' anger. It would be interesting to see if that would happen.
