The Undertaker facing 29-year-old in return match is a bad idea, WWE veteran says (Exclusive)
The Undertaker recently admitted he still thinks about returning to the ring for one more WWE match. Vince Russo, WWE's head writer in the late 1990s, hopes The Deadman does not face Logan Paul if he wrestles again.
In 2020, The Undertaker retired after defeating AJ Styles in a cinematic Boneyard match without any fans in attendance at WrestleMania 36. Two years later, 29-year-old Paul made his WWE in-ring debut and quickly established himself as one of the company's top attractions.
The Undertaker said on Paul's Impaulsive podcast that he would like to wrestle a farewell match, prompting speculation they could face each other. On Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing With Russo, Russo explained why that bout would not appeal to him:
"Bro, if you're asking me, a 63-year-old man, I'm not buying a ticket to watch Undertaker-Logan Paul. I mean, I'm not. No disrespect to 'Taker at all but, bro, it gets to the point where there's nothing else you can do in your career. You've done it all, bro. There's nothing else you can do. I would not. For me, personally, it's not personal. I would have no interest in watching that match." [7:16 – 7:48]

Vince Russo on the possible idea for Logan Paul vs. The Undertaker
Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns are among the WWE stars who appeared on Logan Paul's podcast before feuding with him on television.
If Paul vs. The Undertaker happens, Vince Russo thinks The Maverick would only be placed in that spot to make his 59-year-old opponent look good:
"Did he say that on the Logan Paul show because is that his next opponent and he can just throw Logan Paul all over the place and Logan Paul will flip, flop, and fly for him and make him look like a million bucks? That's the only thing I can think of because for him at this point in time to have like a competitive match that looks good, that's a lot to ask for that body." [2:14 – 2:48]
The Undertaker's last on-screen WWE appearance came on April 7 at WrestleMania XL. In the closing stages of the main event, he attacked The Rock to help Cody Rhodes defeat Roman Reigns.
