The Undertaker makes major personal announcement ahead of WWE RAW
The Undertaker dominated WWE for almost three decades and just recently hit the 52-month mark in his official retirement from active competition. The legendary superstar has made several post-retirement cameos and is now rumored to be returning soon. Taker just dropped a major announcement amid the return rumors and speculation.
The Demon of Death Valley seems to stay busy in life after the WWE ring. In addition to his work with World Wrestling Entertainment, Taker hosts his successful podcast on YouTube and Patreon, Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway, which went viral with Donald Trump. Taker's biggest ongoing project with WWE looks to be the critically acclaimed UNDERTAKER 1 deadMAN SHOW. The event features Taker in an intimate setting, sharing unheard stories from his career and taking fan questions. There is also a VIP meet & greet at each show.
The Phenom just announced three of the 1 deadMAN Shows for his home state of Texas in the month of December. Taker will be at The Factory in Deep Ellum (Dallas) on Friday, December 13; the 713 Music Hall in Houston on Saturday, December 14; and Emo's in Austin on Sunday, December 15. A pre-sale will begin on Thursday, and then tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday.
"Get ready Texas, I’m bringing the 1 deadMAN Show to my home state for three shows in December! 12/13 - @thefactoryDE // Dallas 12/14 - @713musichall // Houston 12/15 - @emosaustin // Austin. Exclusive presale access begins 10/31. Tickets go on sale 11/1 at 10am CT," The Undertaker wrote with the logo below.
Taker's trio of Texas events will see doors open at 7:30 p.m., and showtime is 9 p.m. The Factory notes that tickets range from $65 - $500, but the other two venues have not listed prices as of this writing. All three venues list this as a cell phone-free event that is open to all ages.
The inaugural 1 deadMAN SHOW was held in 2022 during SummerSlam Weekend at a sold-out Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville. Since then, Taker has put on sold-out shows in Philadelphia, Boston, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Antonio, and London during WWE PLE weekends.
The Undertaker and another major name on WWE NXT?
The Undertaker has been rumored to make his second-ever WWE NXT appearance on Tuesday's post-Halloween Havoc episode. The speculation picked up after officials announced Wendy Choo vs. Tatum Paxley in a Casket Match for Tuesday night.
While Taker's involvement in Choo vs. Paxley seems unlikely, there is a connection with the Casket Match. Furthermore, a second WWE Hall of Famer may be appearing on NXT this week after Bubba Ray Dudley revealed that Shawn Michaels invited him to the show. The invite came after Bubba Ray's participation at Halloween Havoc on Sunday.
In addition to the Casket Match, officials announced that Zaria will debut on Tuesday's NXT, but no opponent was named. Two title matches were also confirmed: NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom defend vs. Cedric Alexander and Je'Von Evans, while NXT Heritage Cup Champion Charlie Dempsey defends vs. Lexis King, who will have William Regal in his corner to counter Dempsey's faction.
