The Undertaker predicts major WWE star will become multi-time champion; wants solo heel run for 33-year-old wrestler
Hall of Famer The Undertaker has been closely following WWE's product following his in-ring retirement. He recently spoke highly of Imperium's Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser.
In April 2022, Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser joined WWE's main roster. Giovanni Vinci reunited with the duo at Clash at the Castle, confirming Imperium's reunion. The faction has enjoyed much success on SmackDown and RAW over the past couple of years. Kaiser recently attacked Vinci and started focusing on his solo career, besides being The Ring General's manager.
During an appearance on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, The Undertaker said he wanted Kaiser to have a solo heel run. The former WWE Champion added that the 33-year-old had the qualities of a despised villain.
"I like Kaiser, too. He's going to be a great villainous-type heel. He's easy to look at and dislike. That's a quality. You look at him and I don't like him (...) He just has that heelish smug air to him that is like, 'Man I want to punch him in the face.' That's the best quality you can have as a heel. I think the rub he's going to get off from Gunther. Hopefully, he'll get a heel run of his own someday," 'Taker said.
The Phenom also confidently predicted that Gunther would win multiple world championships in the company.
"Gunther tells stories, and everything he does, there's a reason behind it. He's just kind of a throwback to me and the business where I came from, I guess. [Do you think he's a future champion?] Yeah, maybe this year. He's definitely going to be [a] multi-[time] champion," The Undertaker added. (From 38:14 to 39:18)
WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker on Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes vowed to win the title from Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL, and he delivered on his promise. Since securing the gold, he has been a fighting champion. Rhodes has defended the championship against top names like AJ Styles and Logan Paul so far.
While Rhodes is currently a beloved babyface, The Undertaker thinks he may thrive as an on-screen villain. In the same interview with Chris Van Vliet, The Deadman spoke about a potential heel turn from The American Nightmare.
The WWE Hall of Famer believes Rhodes will have a bigger run in the promotion when he possibly turns heel down the line. It'll be interesting to see whether The American Nightmare ever turns his back on the fans.
