"The whole Samoan family" - Former WWE star discusses The Usos' rise in WWE since their match 3011 days ago; Bloodline members deservedly glorified

A former WWE Superstar recently talked about OG Bloodline members The Usos' rise to stardom in the Stamford-based promotion. The name in question is former SmackDown Tag Team Champion Heath Slater.

Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso have been signed with World Wrestling Entertainment since 2010. They started performing for the company's then-developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). Since getting called up to the main roster, Jimmy and Jey have cemented their legacy as one of the greatest tag teams in the history of WWE. In recent years, Jey and Jimmy have been tearing it up alongside their cousins as part of The Bloodline storyline.

During a recent interview on MuscleManMalcolm, former WWE Superstar Heath Slater was full of praise for The Usos' rise in the company. Slater said that he knew the twins way before they joined FCW and mentioned how "green" they were inside the squared circle.

The Usos and Heath Slater have a rich history in WWE. The former 3MB member, alongside Rhyno, won the inaugural SmackDown Tag Team Championship against Jey and Jimmy on September 11, 2016, at the Backlash Premium Live Event.

The former 3MB member added that over the years, Jey and Jimmy have transitioned themselves into one of the greatest tag teams of all time. Slater also said that he believed the OG Bloodline duo could shine against any tag team from any era.

"Brother, I remember them [The Usos] before they even got to developmental. Like they came in, and they were just, you know, green, rookies at the time, but look how they prospered and became. Man, they're one of the best tag teams ever," he said.

The former Nexus member added:

"Like, you could put them with any tag team in any era, and they would still succeed and be good, man. They're phenomenal, [and] that goes for the whole Samoan family, man; they [are] just very good workers, very good ring awareness; they just know the business. A lot of fun. Very good times!" Jey Uso talked about achieving everything with Jimmy Uso in WWE's Tag Team Division

During the post-WWE Survivor Series: WarGames press conference, The YEET Master talked about possibly teaming up with Jimmy Uso once again. The former Intercontinental Champion said that they had achieved everything in the tag team division.

Jey also mentioned that he and his twin brother could now shine as singles stars as well.

"I think whatever presents a way toward us, man. The Usos will always be The Usos, right? And we did everything in tag team wrestling, I feel like. Well, whatever happens, happens, you know what I'm saying? My twin brother, Jim, can hold his own on his—you know, [in] singles competition, too. And I like where we're at right now. We can move and groove either way. That's what I think," Jey said.
