The Wyatt Sicks attack major heel faction on RAW; Uncle Howdy fails to take out the main target
The Wyatt Sicks appeared on Monday Night RAW after several weeks following the demolition of Chad Gable and American Made. This time, they attacked a major heel stable, The Final Testament. However, while they took care of the group as a whole, Uncle Howdy failed to take out his primary target, The Miz.
The Wyatt Sicks had marked The A-Lister as their next prey after he betrayed his longtime friend R-Truth. Notably, the faction didn’t forget about Karrion Kross and his crew, who were behind The Awesome Truth’s split. The attack occurred right after The Authors of Pain lost their tag team championship number-one contender’s tournament match to The New Day.
While AOP was going toe-to-toe against Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, a ringside interference by R-Truth, as he attacked The Miz, distracted them. Taking advantage, Kingston secured a pinfall, and Truth celebrated the victory with the winners. However, while The New Day left the ring, Truth was too absorbed in the celebrations and got caught as soon as Kross’ crew recovered.
Kofi Kingston tried to rush back in to help Truth, but Xavier Woods was adamant about keeping him away, stating that they needed to focus on their next match. Just then, the light went out, and The Wyatt Sicks arrived before the lights came back on. The faction instantly took out The Final Testament, throwing them into the timekeeper’s area.
During this time, The Miz had simply got down on his knees and curled himself in to hide in plain sight. When he thought he was safe, Uncle Howdy got hold of him from behind. But Paul Ellering jumped in, saving the WWE Grand Slam Champion.
While this allowed Miz to escape, Howdy neutralized Ellering by slamming him onto the ring and gagging his mouth with his gloved hand.
Now that The Wyatt Sicks have finally played their hand, it will be interesting to see when will they finally hunt The Miz and Karrion Kross down.
