The Wyatt Sicks' feud with Chad Gable will have a massive twist in WWE, says veteran (Exclusive)

WWE storylines are seldom straightforward, and a veteran believes that The Wyatt Sicks' rivalry with Chad Gable is no exception. According to him, there is a surprising twist in store that will change how the group is perceived by the fans.

Over the last few weeks, The Wyatt Sicks has made it clear that it is targeting Chad Gable in WWE. Gable, on the other hand, has gradually turned into a proper heel to cope with the circumstances, even going as far as recruiting The Creed Brothers and ambushing Bo Dallas. However, Bill Apter thinks that this is all a ploy to eventually recruit the Alpha Academy leader into their ranks.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine show hosted by Mac Davis, the veteran journalist stated the current storyline would go on till possibly a little after SummerSlam and then the faction would absorb Gable into the group. He also talked about angles that would appear more believable to the WWE Universe.

"This is the storyline that will take it into SummerSlam or after SummerSlam that I am looking forward to. I think they are going to recruit Chad Gable and make him part of the Wyatts. I think that's gonna set them apart into angles that people will have more believability in, just my feeling," said Apter. [4:03 onwards]

Bill Apter was glad that the Wyatt Sicks did not appear in this year's WWE Money in the Bank Match

While there was an opportunity for The Wyatt Sicks to interfere with Chad Gable during the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, the group was suspiciously absent from the premium live event. However, Bill Apter believes it was the right step.

Speaking on another episode of The Wrestling Time Machine show, the veteran journalist stated that he had initially thought that the Wyatt Sicks would possibly appear annually only to pay tribute to the late Bray Wyatt. However, he was pleased that they did not interfere in Gable's MITB Ladder Match and hoped they were henceforth taking a less darker path.

"I am very glad that they did not interfere in the Men's Money in the Bank ladder match to cost Chad Gable. I thought when he was hanging there, the lights were gonna go off and then he would be gone. So I am glad that they didn't do that because I think everybody knows at this point that my feeling's with the Wyatt Sicks is that maybe once a year just to pay tribute to Bray Wyatt. So now that his brother was in with Adam Pearce, and not looking like anything monstrous or anything, maybe they've had a change of heart. They're gonna do something else and not have this whole dark thing go," said Apter. [3:08 onwards]
