The Wyatt Sicks member pens heartfelt note regarding Luke Harper (Brodie Lee) and charity
Jonathan Huber, better known as Luke Harper in WWE—as one of the original members of The Wyatt Family—and Brodie Lee in AEW, passed away at 41 on December 26, 2020. His terrifying character played a big role in the stable's success in World Wrestling Entertainment. Harper debuted in 2013 and made a lasting impact in the eyes of fans, paving the way for a new era of wrestling stories.
Unfortunately for his clan, Erick Rowan is the sole living wrestler out of the three, as Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) passed away at 36 on August 24, 2023. Rowan recently rejoined the WWE program as part of The Wyatt Sicks, a new faction in honor of the original, led by Bray's younger brother Bo Dallas (Uncle Howdy).
A limited-edition Brodie Lee shoe has hit the market as part of AEW's deal with Reebok. The shoe, designed with input from Harper's family, went on sale on July 1 exclusively from Champs Sports. Taking to Instagram, Erick Rowan reminded fans that the proceeds from all purchases will be donated to Highmark Caring Place, which helps children and families with grief.
"Thanks to @mandahuber, Nolan and Brodie for designing this amazing tribute to a beautiful soul in @brodielee as well as @reebok and @champssports for making it happen. 100 percent of proceeds go to @highmarkcaringplace which helps support children and families with grief.. Get your pair at champssports.com 🖤🖤🖤🖤," Rowan informed on social media.
As Luke Harper in WWE, the late superstar went on to win several championships after breaking out from Bray's cult. He even briefly reunited with Erick Rowan as The Bludgeon Brothers before parting ways from the Stamford-based promotion and signing with AEW.
The Wyatt Sicks appear to be keeping an eye on Chad Gable
On the latest episode of WWE RAW, there was an update on The Wyatt Sicks targeting Chad Gable. While it was not made clear, Uncle Howdy indicated that those who turn on their families will pay.
Gable appears to be done with Alpha Academy, although The Creed Brothers have seemingly shown signs of forming an alliance with Master Gable.
Meanwhile, the new horror-themed stable interrupted Chad Gable's confrontation with Jey Uso this week on RAW. Gable wound up retreating through the crowd, and Nikki Cross shared yet another VHS tape, which featured Howdy's aforementioned message.
Interestingly, in a backstage segment, Master Gable once again attempted to reunite with his longtime tag team partner Otis, claiming that he would be there for the former Money in the Bank winner should Uncle Howdy and clan target the latter.
Up until a few weeks ago, it appeared WWE was heading towards a clash between the original Alpha Academy teammates, but the arrival of The Wyatt Sicks changed everything.
