There are Brock Lesnar "plans in the work," believes WWE Hall of Famer
Brock Lesnar was referenced recently by Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes during his RAW promo segment with World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. This sent fans into a frenzy as many are hoping to see The Beast return to lock horns with The Ring General.
Admitting that Brock Lesnar's return would certainly be a "game-changer," WWE Hall of Famer Booker T opined that the reference could very well be a sign of his eventual comeback. However, Booker also noted that it is possible Lesnar joins Roman Reigns on SmackDown.
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T discussed Brock Lesnar, who has been absent since SummerSlam 2023. The Hall of Famer was asked about The Beast's potential return at Crown Jewel:
"Tell you what man, I don’t know if that’s going to happen. Could I see that happening? Yeah, of course. But the game-changer would be just Brock reappearing back on WWE TV in any way, shape, or form. That’s what I think. That’s the game-changer," he responded.
Booker then addressed how fans may have come to the conclusion that they have seen the last of the ex-UFC mauler in WWE owing to this lengthy hiatus. However, he also added that recent references are worth keeping an eye on:
"No one’s said anything, so I’m sure if some words are being dropped, yeah, it might be some plans in the work. [...] It would just add more fuel to the fire, especially with The Bloodline stuff that’s going on. Is he gonna join in with Roman? There’s so much data to work with, so yeah, I’d love to see Brock Lesnar back in the fold," Booker T said. [From 45:00 to 46:06]
WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker shares his thoughts on Brock Lesnar vs. Gunther
World Heavyweight Champion Gunther was named the "best wrestler in the world" today by both The Undertaker and Booker T. While an argument can be made that his reign is a success as he has already managed to defeat prominent names such as Randy Orton and Damian Priest, a program with Brock Lesnar could legitimize any WWE Superstar.
This was noted by WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker, who agreed that matches with top stars such as CM Punk and Drew McIntyre would be great but claimed they would all be "wrestling matches." The Deadman — who is a huge fan of The Ring General — feels The Beast Incarnate is whom the World Heavyweight Champion needs to face at this point.
Taker also called Brock Lesnar vs. Gunther a major throwback match and warned The Ring General that The Beast "don't care" when it comes to receiving a few chops because he gives it back ten times over.
