35-year-old superstar voices her concerns about Jade Cargill's potential draft status in WWE

The night one of the 2024 WWE Draft is in the books. Last night on SmackDown we saw a few stars switch brands, and new stars getting a call-up from NXT. A former Women's Champion recently opened up about her opinion on Jade Cargill's potential draft status.

During the latest episode of SmackDown, Bianca Belair was the first overall pick from the blue brand. Later in the night, The EST shared that she plans to team up with Jade Cargill to challenge Asuka and Kairi Sane for the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles in the near future. Soon the Kabuki Warriors confronted Bianca and Cargill made her entrance to face off against the heel faction.

During a SmackDown exclusive interview, Belair addressed concerns about Cargill's potential draft status. Since Big Jade hasn't been drafted yet there is a possibility that she can be assigned to a RAW. The 35-year-old star mentioned how coordinated they both are as a team and hoped for her to be drafted to the blue brand.

"There is. That's what’s so exciting, but also nerve-wracking about the draft. There’s so many possibilities. I really do hope that Jade gets drafted to SmackDown because everybody knows how much power that we have. If she doesn’t, it’s gonna be the shortest-lived tag team. We’re gonna into the draft, out of the draft as tag team champions, but we’ll just have to see what happens. I really hope that she gets drafted to SmackDown because everybody knows the power that we have. So let’s just manifest that," she said. [H/T- Fightful]

WWE Superstar Jade Cargill gave her honest opinion about her journey in wrestling

WWE SmackDown Superstar Jade Cargill opened up about her flourishing as a pro wrestler in WWE and AEW.

Giving her honest opinion in a conversation with Evan Mack during the WrestleMania XL week, Cargill asserted that she feels fortunate to be a part of a wrestling dynasty where her fans have seen her growing up.

She also added how wrestlers spend years skilling themselves on the developmental brand prior to making an on-screen debut.

"It feels great. What I want everybody to understand is you’ve seen my first match ever. You’ve literally seen me grow. Who gets to see that? That was my first match ever, that was Shaquille O’Neal and Cody Rhodes. Who gives that? So I think everyone should give me grace and be understanding that you’re literally watching me go from a infant into a superstar. No one gets that. People go to the PC or whatever and they grind on NXT for years or the indies. Like, be thankful that you’re getting to see my progression," said Cargill.
