"They were The Usos before The Usos" - 18-time WWE champion looking forward to Bloodline additions

The Bloodline seems to be going through a turbulent time after WrestleMania XL. An 18-time WWE champion recently spoke about the Samoan faction’s newest addition, Tama Tonga, and hoped to see a few more. That would be Bully Ray.

The WWE Universe was surprised to see Solo Sikoa take matters into his own hands on the latest episode of SmackDown in Roman Reigns and The Rock’s absence. The Enforcer introduced Tama Tonga to WWE, and the two men viciously beat down Jimmy Uso and kicked him out of the faction.

Tama Tonga has competed in several wrestling promotions in Japan and Mexico during his pro wrestling career. He has held multiple titles, including the IWGP Tag Team Championship seven times, the ROH World Tag Team Championship once, and the NEVER Openweight Championship four times.

Bully Ray spoke about training Tama Tonga and his brother, Tanga Loa, at his school, the Team 3D Academy. He spoke about their beginning when Tama and Tanga’s father, Haku, came to the academy to ask him to train his sons.

"Haku said he also wanted to be involved in their training, so they trained with me and Devon three days a week at the academy, and then I gave Haku the keys to our school so he could come in on Sundays and work privately with his sons," Bully Ray said.

Bully Ray added that he saw a lot of potential in them early on, and praised the duo. He also noted that Tama Tonga had the better facial expressions, and the two together could wreak havoc again.

"I saw a lot in the both of them very, very early on. As a matter of fact, to me, Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa they were The Usos before The Usos. As far as a Samoan, Polynesian type of team. I saw them as a modern day SST — Samoan SWAT Team," Bully Ray said. [H/T WrestlingINC]

WWE fans could possibly see Tanga Loa appear in the Stamford-based company soon to join The Bloodline. It would be great to see the Samoan faction expand before it implodes.

The Usos are effectively out of The Bloodline on WWE SmackDown

The Bloodline initially consisted of Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, along with Paul Heyman. The faction expanded with the inclusion of Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn.

Zayn was the first one to be kicked out of the villainous group before Jey Uso decided to leave the faction. The most recent edition of WWE SmackDown saw Jimmy Uso face the axe after Solo Sikoa and the debuting Tama Tonga kicked him out of The Bloodline. Now, The Usos seem to be out of the heel group for good.

With Roman Reigns and The Rock on a hiatus, it will be interesting to see how Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman present The Bloodline in the coming weeks. The inclusion of Tama Tonga will give them something different to work with.
