"This is very personal" - Wrestling legend says WWE needs to revisit CM Punk's feud with former world champion

CM Punk was involved in a feud with Seth Rollins leading into WrestleMania XL, but everything changed after he sustained an injury during the Men's Royal Rumble match. WWE Legend Bully Ray thinks that the feud needs to be paid off at some point.

On Monday Night RAW this week, The Second City Saint opened the show and spoke about costing Drew McIntyre his Money in the Bank cash-in at the Premium Live Event. While he stopped The Scottish Warrior from winning the World Heavyweight Championship, he also cost The Visionary the match and the title. Rollins confronted Punk on RAW and they went back and forth on the mic.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray stated that WWE needs to revisit that rivalry, as Seth Rollins and CM Punk still have unfinished business.

"They still have to get back to that. This is very personal with Punk and Seth; the things that they had to say about one another while they were in separate companies. There's money to be made in this quote-unquote 'blood feud,'" said Bully Ray. (H/T Wrestling INC.)

Bully Ray then said that Gunther would probably win the world title at SummerSlam, and the winner of Punk and Seth's feud should determine The Ring General's challenger for the title.

"And then, coming out of that, I believe you'll want to see Punk challenge Gunther."

CM Punk was fined $25,000 for his actions at WWE Money in the Bank

The Voice of the Voiceless was not advertised for Money in the Bank, yet he made a surprise appearance during the show and viciously attacked Drew McIntyre. CM Punk hit the latter multiple times with a steel chair and choked him with an electrical cord. This allowed Damian Priest to pin The Scottish Warrior and retain the World Heavyweight Championship.

During his in-ring segment on RAW, CM Punk revealed that he was fined $25,000 by Adam Pearce, but McIntyre was fined double that amount because he put his hands on the RAW GM. Drew is expected to return on Monday next week.
