Bill Apter believes Charlotte Flair's inevitable return could be worrying for Tiffany Stratton
Bill Apter was glad to see Tiffany Stratton win the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. However, he believes that the inevitable return of Charlotte Flair would change the entire scenario in the SmackDown women's division.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine show, Apter stated that Stratton was a great choice for winning the MITB contract, although there were arguments that Chelsea Green deserved it almost as much. However, the veteran journalist predicted that the entire women's division would be thrown wide open with The Queen's eventual return.
"She did because she is the... Nothing wrong with any of the other ladies. I think Chelsea was very close, but in terms of marketting and viable for a match against one of the champions, it's gotta be her. She looked tremendous. She has got that athletic background. My question is, I don't know when this is gonna happen, but the woman's division has changed so much. What's gonna happen in your opinion when Charlotte Flair clicks that button and says, 'I am ready to come back,'" said Apter.
On SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton is involved in Bayley's feud with Nia Jax as the latter's ally. The Irresistible Force has promised to gift the 25-year-old a new Money in the Bank briefcase after The Role Model destroyed the original one.
At the SummerSlam Premium Live Event, Bayley will defend the WWE Women's Championship against Jax. Stratton has already teased the possibility of cashing in and it remains to be seen how wisely she chooses to use that MITB contract.
