Tiffany Stratton teases big change after potentially winning title at WWE Bad Blood
Tiffany Stratton and WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax had issues straight off the bat, but their friendship trumps everything else. Ahead of Saturday's Bad Blood, The Buff Barbie teased switching brands.
Women's World Champion Liv Morgan is slated to defend her belt against Rhea Ripley at Bad Blood. Morgan already has Ripley and 'Dirty' Dom — who will be hanging above the ring inside a Shark Cage — to worry about. But now, there is a new target on her back.
Speaking to David LaGreca on Busted Open ahead of Bad Blood, Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton was provoked when the elephant in the room was addressed — Is she waiting for the precise moment to strike on Women's Champion Nia Jax? The answer is no, as Stratton claimed that she would rather move to RAW than cash in on her "Queen":
"There is a second title, I feel like people forget we’ve got Liv Morgan over on RAW. Who knows? I could show up this Monday, or I could show up [at Bad Blood]. I’m gonna be backstage rooting for my queen, I could easily just cash in on Liv after her match with Rhea [Ripley] and win the title and become the WWE World Women's Champion. So you’ll have to wait and see," Stratton said. [From 9:35 to 10:01]
If this is what ultimately happens, then Stratton will have to move to RAW as the Women's World Title is exclusive to the red brand. Meanwhile, Jax will defend her WWE Women's Champion at Bad Blood against Bayley. The Irresistible Force won the title against The Role Model at SummerSlam.
Nia Jax is convinced Tiffany Stratton will not cash in Money in the Bank contract on her
During the same episode of the Busted Open podcast, the host repeatedly told Nia Jax to not to throw caution to the wind about her friend, Tiffany Stratton. Jax, however, reminded him that she was the one who gifted The Buff Barbie with a new briefcase after the latter won it in July.
Furthermore, The Irresistible Force addressed their friendship as better than most others, and that there is no chance Stratton will stab her in the back:
"We just have an instant connection, but I got her that custom briefcase. We all know she’s not gonna cash in on me. She would never. There’s another title in the women’s division that is up for the Money in the Bank contract."
On the latest episode of SmackDown, though, Tiffany Stratton appeared to be on the verge of cashing in on Jax, which the latter ultimately noticed. This led to the Women's Champion walking out on her. The Buff Barbie subsequently lost a match to Naomi. Does this mean a cash-in is guaranteed at Bad Blood?
