Time of The Rock's next appearance after surprising return at Bad Blood predicted by WWE analyst
The Rock returned after nearly six months of absence at WWE Bad Blood. However, a WWE analyst believes fans will not see The Final Boss again soon.
After Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes' victory over The Bloodline, The Rock returned at Bad Blood. He came out to the stage to stare at The Original Tribal Chief, The American Nightmare, and the returning Jimmy Uso. The Final Boss then counted to three on his hand and made a cut-throat gesture to the three superstars in the ring. The 52-year-old then turned around and left.
On the Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts disclosed that he does not believe The Rock is officially back:
"I don't think The Rock is back back. I think we got drip-fed. I think a little breadcrumbing and that's it. I think The Rock just peeked in here to let everybody know, 'I'm still around, I'm still watching, and I may very well still be involved.' But ultimately, I don't think he's back. I mean, I have trouble seeing The Rock at WarGames," he said. [21:41 - 22:12]
Although the 41-year-old did not rule out the possibility that The Final Boss will be present at Survivor Series, he predicted that The Rock would not show up again until January, specifically on the first episode of RAW on Netflix:
"The Rock may not be back until January. I don't think we're gonna see The Rock again until January. What do you think? [Yeah, I think January 1 or January 6] That would be the date that I think as well," Roberts added. [23:20 - 23:42]
What did The Rock's gesture at WWE Bad Blood mean?
On the same episode of the Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts also discussed The Rock's gesture to Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Jimmy Uso at Bad Blood.
The RAW Talk host predicted the meaning behind the gesture, claiming it might have meant that the three superstars had entered into the "sight of The Final Boss":
"I said to you immediately, I went oh my God, Megan, how many people are in the ring? And, Megan, tell me how many people were in the ring? Three. I said, Megan, The Rock is sending a message to all three of them. I think, that's how I perceived it, that The Rock was letting Jimmy, Roman, and Cody all know that they've just entered into the sight of The Final Boss," he said.
At the Bad Blood press conference, WWE CCO Triple H stated that he was thankful to The Rock for showing up despite his busy schedule. It would be interesting to see when The Final Boss will make his next appearance.
