Intercontinental Champion Gunther spoke about the possibility of facing Roman Reigns

Gunther and Roman Reigns are arguably among two of the most dominant champions in WWE right now.

In a recent interview with Mike Jones, The Ring General claimed that he is in no rush to face Reigns in a singles match.

Gunther stated that he is focused on his job as the Intercontinental Champion, and Reigns is focused on his as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. He said:

"I think there’s no rush with that (match with Roman Reigns). I think he’s doing his thing right now and I’m very focused on doing my thing so, didn’t really have an urge to, like seek out for that confrontation yet but like you said, down the line, that’s definitely one of the matches that fans are looking forward to."

At Night of Champions, Reigns will have the opportunity of holding four separate championships. He will team up with Solo Sikoa to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles, currently held by Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
