Top championship to be defended on WWE RAW 84 days after title change
Adam Pearce will have his hands full on WWE RAW this week. Not only will CM Punk address his Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood, but a championship will also be defended for the first time in almost three months on television.
This week's episode of WWE RAW will take place at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. The show has a stacked match card and will see the build-up to the next premium live event in October.
This week's episode of the red show will feature a World Tag Team Championship bout. JD McDonagh and Finn Balor will put their gold on the line against Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. The Judgment Day won the coveted title on June 24 when they beat the team of The Miz and R-Truth. Balor and McDonagh haven't defended it on TV since the victory.
What other matches will take place on WWE RAW this week?
As of this writing, the red show has five matches in place and one appearance that is bound to turn the program upside down. CM Punk will discuss his upcoming Hell in a Cell Match against Drew McIntyre. The former AEW star is bound to get personal, forcing McIntyre to come out and get physical.
Besides the World Tag Team Title match, WWE RAW will see two behemoths lock horns when Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed go one-on-one on the show. The two had a hard-hitting bout earlier, and fans won't expect anything less this week.
The program will see former stablemates Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio go head-to-head, while Sheamus and Pete Dunne will look to resolve their issues in a singles match. As for the women's division, Natalya and Zoey Stark will continue their rivalry with another one-on-one contest.
