Top WWE faction shares future plans after 4-time champion's return on RAW
A major WWE Superstar made a triumphant return after three months and reunited with her group on this week's Monday Night RAW. After the flagship show, Dakota Kai and her Damage CTRL members IYO SKY and Kairi Sane revealed their ambitious goals for the upcoming weeks.
In a backstage segment on the August 5, edition of the red brand, The Pure Fusion Collective attacked King Kota and put her out of action. Later, it was revealed that the former two-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion and two-time NXT Women's Tag Team Champion had suffered a torn meniscus.
Dakota Kai made a sudden return to RAW on November 11, 2024, after a successful surgery and full recovery. Teaming up with IYO SKY and Kairi Sane, she defeated Shayna Baszler, Sonya Deville, and Zoey Stark in a thrilling six-woman tag team match.
In a post-show interview with Byron Saxton on RAW Exclusive, Dakota Kai revealed the challenges of watching the action from home during her recovery. Despite this, the four-time champion expressed her determination to reclaim the Women's Tag Team Championships with Damage CTRL.
"Gosh, it was so difficult watching from home, you guys held it down for sure. But we are here to show everyone Damage CTRL. We won our match tonight. Now, we have our eyes on gold, potentially those tag team titles," she said. [From 00:16 to 00:32]

IYO SKY of Damage CTRL also confirms her next target in WWE
The Genius of the Sky lost her WWE Women's Championship to former Damage CTRL leader, Bayley at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia. On the November 4, installment of the red brand, the Japanese star won the multi-woman Battle Royal to become the number one contender to the Women's World Title.
Building on Dakota Kai's statement in the same interview with Saxton, IYO SKY declared her intention to become the Women's World Champion. She is set to face Liv Morgan somewhere down the line after, as WWE hasn't announced the official date.
"And I need the Women's World Championship. We will be, all the champions," she said. [From 00:35 to 00:42]
It remains to be seen whether all members of the Damage CTRL faction can capture titles in the coming weeks.
