A WWE Superstar suffered a horrific injury during a singles match on Monday Night RAW. The star has now revealed that he showed his dedication to the sport by continuing to wrestle with a broken rib.

On the June 24 installment of the Red brand, Ludwig Kaiser of The Imperium battled Bron Breakker in a hard-fought match. However, Sheamus' interference led to a DQ win for the German star.

After the match, it was revealed that Kaiser had suffered an injury during the bout and was immediately checked by the medical team backstage as per reports. Recently, the former NXT Tag Team Champion spoke with Metro UK and opened up about his injury.

The Imperium member revealed that he suffered a broken rib early in his match against Bron Breakker. Despite the injury, the WWE Superstar fought on, enduring the pain, but couldn't breathe properly throughout the contest.

"I was a little banged up before, I had a little bit of a problem with my rib before. And yeah, very, very early in the match – actually, I think like the first minute or the second, I landed, and I felt right away that my rib was broken... [I] couldn’t breathe anymore really, couldn’t really move anymore," said Ludwig Kaiser. [H/T: Metro UK]
