Top WWE name issues a warning to John Cena and Goldberg ahead of their respective retirement plans

John Cena and WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg are set to ride off into the sunset by the end of 2025. Meanwhile, the current Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker issues a warning to both ahead of their returns in 2025.

John Cena's retirement tour will be his last run as a full-time performer in the Stamford-based promotion. Meanwhile, Goldberg announced the final match of his career will also take place somewhere in the coming year in WWE.

In an interview on Ringside Fest 2024, the current IC Champion was asked if he's interested in facing the legends when they return for a final run in 2025. Bron Breakker stated that he feels bad for them if they even considered coming after him or the Intercontinental Championship in the coming year. The Dog of WWE also issued a warning.

"If either one of them wants to challenge me for my championship, I'm not going to back down from anybody. I just would feel bad for both of them. I really would because I'm just getting started here and we really haven't seen like half of what I'm capable of. I'm three and a half years into the business, and I'm just getting going... I would just feel terrible for both of them if they ever tried to cross me," Breakker said. [From 34:40 to 35:28]

John Cena and Goldberg made appearances for WWE in 2024

Earlier this year, John Cena returned to the Stamford-based promotion for a surprising cameo. In the final moments of WrestleMania XL Night 2, The Cenation Leader returned and assisted Cody Rhodes against The Bloodline by attacking Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.

After a quick six-man tag team match with The Awesome Truth against The Judgment Day, the 16-time WWE Champion made his third appearance at Money in the Bank in Canada. However, he appeared to announce his upcoming retirement tour in 2025.

After over two years, Goldberg made his first appearance for the Stamford-based promotion in October 2024 at WWE Bad Blood in Atlanta. The appearance led to a segment with Gunther, which could further be explored when the former Universal Champion returns in 2025 for his retirement match.
