Top WWE name says Charlotte Flair's the reason she got into wrestling
WWE SmackDown has felt Charlotte Flair's absence in the women's division for a while. The Queen has inspired several women with her work, including Tiffany Stratton. Recently, The Buff Barbie named the 38-year-old star her dream opponent.
A few years ago, Tiffany Stratton appeared on WWE's developmental brand and many instantly drew comparisons with Charlotte Flair. However, the two haven't shared the ring yet, as they were on separate brands, and Stratton was green as a performer.
In an interview with the Daily Star, Ms. Money in the Bank was asked which star is her dream opponent in the Stamford-based promotion. She instantly said Charlotte Flair and added The Queen was why she entered professional wrestling a few years ago.
"I feel [Dream opponent] like Charlotte Flair, just because she's kind of the reason why I got into wrestling and stuff," Stratton said. [11:14 - 11:22]

Tiffany Stratton had a massive year on WWE SmackDown in Charlotte Flair's absence
Earlier this year, Tiffany Stratton made a shocking appearance during the Women's Royal Rumble match, which opened the door for the former NXT Women's Champion to join Friday Night SmackDown.
Later, she remained with the blue brand and allied herself with Nia Jax. In the following weeks, both stars gained success as Jax won the Queen of the Ring tournament in May and Stratton won the MITB briefcase in July.
The two have been unstoppable and ruling the women's division on WWE SmackDown. Meanwhile, Charlotte Flair has not appeared for the Stamford-based company since December 2023.
In December, she injured her knee due to a botched moonsault on Asuka during the match. The Queen hasn't appeared on TV since the incident, and it'll be interesting to see when Charlotte Flair returns to the Stamford-based promotion.
