Top WWE star's segment added to RAW following CM Punk's injury angle
CM Punk was ready to move on after a decisive win at WWE Bash in Berlin, having gotten back the bracelet with his wife, AJ Lee, and dog, Larry's names on it. Drew McIntyre suffered a huge loss, some would say, with an exclamation point.
On RAW last week, Punk appeared, ecstatic, and wasting little time, put World Heavyweight Champion Gunther on notice. But then it happened.
Drew McIntyre surprised the Chicago native with not only a brutal beatdown but also by taking back the latter's bracelet. Instead of keeping it like he did before, though, the Scotsman destroyed it. He then proceeded to shove the pieces into Punk's mouth, adding insult to injury.
WWE has announced a Drew McIntyre segment for tonight's episode of RAW, which marks a new season premiere. McIntyre seemingly will address last week's heinous act, and possibly challenge CM Punk to a rubber match, as it is expected to happen at WWE Bad Blood on October 5.

Drew McIntyre had a savage response to internet memes on CM Punk's bracelet
A large part of the CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre rivalry had the former AEW World Champion's bracelet at its center. How much it means to The Second City Saint and McIntyre consistently taunting him with it.
Speaking about this on Insight with Chris Van Vliet while promoting the Scotsman's upcoming feature film The Killer's Game, Drew McIntyre addressed the WWE Universe who had some fun on social media. The Scottish Warrior claimed that nothing is more pleasurable than destroying CM Punk:
"I've seen some of the memes about it being more meaningful, or people have more of an emotional attachment right now than some of the titles, which may technically be true right now. But eventually, the titles will kick up their gear in the storylines, et cetera. But I'm gonna be so bold as to say this right now is perhaps the top prize in all of wrestling," said McIntyre.
Tonight's episode of RAW is scheduled to emanate from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Among plenty of noteworthy announcements, the show will mark the return of WWE Hall of Famer Bret "The Hitman" Hart. The Hitman's appearance has added more star power to an already stacked card.
