Top WWE Superstar must drop major championship at SummerSlam, says Matt Camp
Several championship matches are booked for WWE SummerSlam in Cleveland. Former WWE host Matt Camp believes one of these titles must change hands at the premium live events.
The title in question is the World Heavyweight Championship. By winning The King of the Ring Tournament earlier this year, Gunther guaranteed himself a title match at SummerSlam. He will now go head-to-head against the current champion, Damian Priest, at The Biggest Party of the Summer. Last Monday on RAW, the two superstars brawled and were separated by WWE officials and security.
On his The Wrestling Matt podcast, Camp stated that although the match feels bigger after what happened on the red brand, it does not feel like a huge square-off. Meanwhile, he also claimed The Ring General must dethrone The Judgment Day member:
"Gunther [vs.] Priest feels a little bigger. I still don't feel it's huge. It's just a weird time to do the match when Priest isn't fully a babyface. Gunther has to win," he said. [From 43:29 to 43:43]

Matt Camp thinks Gunther planted the seeds for a future feud with another WWE Superstar
Last Monday on RAW, Gunther appeared in a video package in which he spoke about former World Heavyweight Champions. He also namedropped CM Punk, dubbing him an afterthought.
On The Wrestling Matt podcast, Matt Camp claimed The Ring General planted the seeds for a future feud with The Best in the World. However, he claimed the two superstars would not clash anytime soon:
"I liked in the video package with Gunther talking about other champions, he called CM Punk an afterthought. We're not going to Punk and Gunther yet. But at some point, that will happen. And that's just [a] little nugget, that little kernel, that seed, let's just throw it out there. You can come back to that," he said.
Gunther has been a dominating force in WWE since his arrival to the main roster. It would be interesting to see if he can capture his first world championship at SummerSlam and whether he would later cross paths with CM Punk.
