Top WWE Superstar's wife reacts to Bayley's bold warning
After Bayley warned a top WWE Superstar in a recent interview, his wife reacted to the threat on social media.
Bayley was unhappy with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis after his appearance on WWE's The Bump. Aldis claimed that there might have been a "shift in dynamic" within Damage CTRL.
In an appearance on the Gabby AF podcast with Gabby LaSpisa, Bayley warned Aldis that she will go straight to his wife and former WWE Superstar Mickie James if he doesn't get his thoughts together.
"He's still new to the game," Bayley said. "He's new on the show. Get outta here. ... He better make sure I don’t tell his wife on him."
Mickie James reacted to Bayley's warning on X by posting a few eye emojis. It was a vague response by the former Women's Champion, who is currently a free agent as a performer. She did however sign with Ohio Valley Wrestling to be the promotion's creative director, head of female talent, and executive producer.
With the Royal Rumble just around the corner, there could be some surprises in the first big event of 2024. Bayley has already announced her entry to the Royal Rumble match, while Mickie James most recently entered the Rumble as a surprise entrant in 2022 as the then-Impact Knockouts World Champion.
What did Nick Aldis say about Bayley on WWE's The Bump?
SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis was a special guest on WWE's The Bump wherein he hinted about the possible breakup of Damage CTRL. Aldis assumed that there was an internal power struggle among the members, especially after what happened in the past few months involving Bayley and company.
"Every time a new personality comes into the equation, the dynamic shifts, and we are all looking for the same thing," Aldis said. "We are all looking for respect, we are looking to make money, and if you are a competitor in WWE, you are looking for championship gold. ... Most of the time, you are left with no choice. Especially when you get towards the top, you have to go through people. And I would say that the situation with Damage CTRL is a little bit of an example of this. [20:34 to 21:23]
