"Tremendously grateful" - WWE personality breaks character to praise Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman
Roman Reigns has been absent from WWE television since WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia, and Paul Heyman has been waiting for The Tribal Chief's return. Meanwhile, Nick Aldis broke character and praised the two stars.
Last October, Nick Aldis debuted for the company when he was named as the new General Manager of WWE SmackDown by Triple H. The 37-year-old star primarily had segments with The Bloodline, including Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman, on the blue brand.
During an appearance on Gorilla Position ahead of WWE Clash at the Castle, Nick Aldis broke character and praised The Tribal Chief and The Wiseman. Aldis revealed how the two played a part when he debuted for the blue brand.
"The Roman [Reigns] interaction was a massive, massive thing for me. And, again, pulling back the curtain as much as I'm comfortable doing, I was tremendously grateful to him because, obviously, he's at that level where nothing happens without his go-ahead. So to be able to sort of get that endorsement fairly quickly, and the same with [Paul] Heyman. My interactions with Paul, to me, have been absolutely invaluable. And, getting to work with him and working on those things together it's just like I'm getting paid to get a PhD," he said. [From 38:50 to 39:34]
Solo Sikoa almost attacked Paul Heyman on WWE SmackDown
Paul Heyman has been living on the edge since Roman Reigns went on a hiatus from WWE after WrestleMania XL. Later, Solo Sikoa began his reign of terror when he took over The Bloodline.
The Tribal Heir added new members to The Bloodline during The Tribal Chief's absence. This also led Heyman to remove Roman Reigns from the recent Draft.
Last week on blue brand, Solo Sikoa warned Paul Heyman, stating he would come after The Wiseman if he lost to Kevin Owens. In the main event of SmackDown, Heyman was left with no option but to help The Street Champion.
After defeating Kevin Owens, Solo Sikoa and the rest of The Bloodline spared Paul Heyman. Instead, they shifted their focus towards Owens before Randy Orton showed up to even the odds.
