Trick Williams sends cryptic one-word message after losing WWE NXT Championship at Heatwave
WWE Superstar Trick Williams recently took to social media to send a cryptic message following his loss at the NXT Heatwave Premium Live Event. He lost his NXT Championship in a Fatal Four-Way bout at the PLE.
Williams joined World Wrestling Entertainment in 2021 and has since become one of the biggest names on the developmental brand. The 30-year-old has already won several titles, including the North American Championship and the NXT Championship. Many fans believe he will be called up to the main roster soon.
However, at NXT Heatwave, Trick Williams locked horns with Ethan Page, Shawn Spears, and Je'Von Evans in a Fatal Four-Way match with his NXT Championship on the line. It was one of the best matches of this year, but much to Williams' dismay, it ended in a unique finish in favor of Page.
Following his loss, the former North American Champion took to X/Twitter to send a cryptic one-word message.
"Bet," he wrote.

Trick Williams' WWE NXT Heatwave opponent shared a heartfelt story before their title match
During an edition of the Under the Ring podcast, Trick Williams' opponent Je'Von Evans referred to Williams as his brother.
Evans also shared a heartfelt story of his WWE tryout when he first met the former WWE NXT North American Champion, saying that Trick gave him advice and ever since, they have been very close.
"That's my brother. From my tryout, [when] I came, I went to him and shook his hand, I thought he wouldn't know who I was. He was like, 'I know who you are, bro. Just do you.' Ever since then, it's honestly just been, you know, we're close. I ask him for advice and he asks me for advice," Je'Von Evans said.
Je'Von Evans was on another level during the Fatal Four-Way match at NXT Heatwave as he took several unbelievable bumps and performed at the highest level at such a young age. It seems like Evans' future in World Wrestling Entertainment is very bright.
