Trick Williams takes a massive dig at WWE star by bringing up his past; fight breaks outÂ
Trick Williams opened this week's episode of WWE NXT and cut a promo in the ring where he spoke about losing his title. He was confronted by Ashante "Thee" Adonis and Cedric Alexander, and a challenge was made during the segment.
Williams started things off by telling Ethan Page that they were going to see each other again. He added that he hasn't been the same since he lost the NXT Title at Heatwave. Cedric came out and tried to offer Trick some advice, but the latter said his mind was already made up and he wouldn't stop till he got his title back.
Alexander said that he's a former champion as well and was trying to warn Trick Williams. Ashante "Thee" Adonis then made his way out and told Cedric that Williams wasn't going to listen to him. Trick told Adonis to go back to SmackDown if he came to NXT to stir the pot.
Ashante said he came to pick up the ball that Williams dropped. Trick then took a dig at him by mentioning Hit Row, a faction that Adonis used to be a part of. The group had two failed runs on the main roster. After some more words were exchanged in the ring, Cedric Alexander somehow heard that Trick said he was better than him.
The former Cruiserweight Champion challenged Trick Williams to a match, and the latter accepted. Trick then attacked Ashante "Thee" Adnos and sent him out of the ring.
