Triple H announces 37-year-old star's WWE in-ring return

WWE has been touching new heights every month under the creative guidance of Triple H. The company recently started an X-exclusive show named WWE Speed, and its upcoming episode will see the return of Dijak.

Speed, which features wrestlers from RAW and SmackDown, started in April of this year. While the regular matches on the show are limited to three minutes, title matches have a longer duration of five minutes. The show airs exclusively on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Andrade is the current Speed Champion. The Mexican star won the title last week after he defeated Ricochet. The new challenger for the Speed Championship will be determined in the coming days, with the matches starting as early as Wednesday.

Triple H recently took to X to reveal that Xavier Woods will be taking on Dijak this week, with the winner advancing to the next round. This will also be the latter's first match in nearly a month. The 37-year-old was drafted to RAW during this year's Draft but has not made any appearances on the red brand. He has wrestled in just one match since the Draft, with the bout taking place on Main Event.

Triple H sent a message to Andrade after his WWE Speed Championship win

Andrade won the Speed Championship a few days ago as he defeated the inaugural champion, Ricochet. The latter is most likely on his way out of the company and dropped the title before his departure.

Triple H also congratulated the new champion upon his victory, posting a picture with him:

Congratulations to @AndradElIdolo on capturing the Speed Championship and ushering in the next chapter of #WWESpeed. Now, we just need to find his first challenger..." Hunter said

Andrade returned to the global juggernaut earlier this year at Royal Rumble. He has not featured much on TV programming since returning. The Speed Championship was his first title win in his second stint with the company.
