Triple H announces new WWE championship belt
Triple H has now announced a new WWE championship belt. The CCO decided to make the announcement on social media.
Several changes have been made to titles for a while now. After Triple H took over, a new World Heavyweight Championship was introduced. Roman Reigns' titles were consolidated into the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. The SmackDown and RAW Women's Titles were remade into the WWE Women's Title and the Women's World Title, respectively. The tag team titles have also been renamed similarly.
Along with this, HHH started a tournament that introduced the Speed Championship. Now, the Chief Creative Officer has confirmed that another title is coming.
In an announcement on X, The Game confirmed that a new Speed Women's Tournament would start on September 4. It will be exclusive to X and not on TV.
However, many fans missed his exact words and the fact that he was announcing a new title alongside the tournament. A new champion will be crowned in the Women's Speed Tournament.
"Time to turn #WWESpeed up another notch… excited to announce that the WWE Speed Women’s Championship Tournament will premiere Sept. 4 at 12pm ET / 9am PT, exclusively on @X," Triple H wrote.
Fans will have to wait to see who the inaugural champion will be.
Triple H has been carrying WWE's entire creative division
As the CCO, The Game is responsible for telling the stories of wrestlers fans have seen on the screen since Vince McMahon stepped down from his controlling position backstage.
The star is in charge of telling the biggest stories. He's been assisted by Shawn Michaels, who oversees NXT, telling stories there with the up-and-coming stars.
It remains to be seen if The Game will ever play an on-screen role again.
