Triple H booed by fans after statement before WWE Crown Jewel; Michael Cole saves him

Triple H is well-loved by WWE fans, but a statement made by the CCO was quite unpopular and led to him being booed. Michael Cole had to get involved to change things up.

Before Crown Jewel, Triple H was at the Kickoff show, talking about the massive event and even making a big announcement about the titles. However, it was not that; it was another statement that made him quite unpopular with the fans present at the live kickoff show. The Game even got booed in what is now a very rare moment, given how much he is loved.

The Game was talking to Michael Cole when fans started chanting for WrestleMania. The Saudi Arabian fans clearly wanted the biggest show of all to come to the country and be hosted there—something that WWE has hinted is possible for the United Kingdom. However, while John Cena and WWE have encouraged the UK fans, that was not the case here.

The Game immediately made a statement shutting down the possibility of a WrestleMania in Saudi Arabia.

"Yes, WrestleMania, it is in Las Vegas, Nevada." (4:19 - 4:23)

Triple H looked baffled at the boos that followed, but Michael Cole jumped in to save him, changing the subject and thanking him for bringing Crown Jewel to Saudi Arabia.
