Triple H breaks silence following massive WWE announcement on Roman Reigns' future

WWE has finally revealed the official details of Monday Night RAW's upcoming premiere on Netflix. The longest-running television show in history will make its debut on the streaming platform on January 6, live from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. The Stamford-based company also announced that American rapper Travis Scott will also be in attendance.

The announcement was accompanied by a major tease from the company. Among other stars, Roman Reigns was also featured in the company's announcement post, which was a massive hint at The Original Tribal Chief's future in the company.

With the internet abuzz following the announcement, Triple H has now broken his silence. The Game hyped the exciting news with an energetic post on X, stating that 'The countdown is on' for Monday Night RAW's debut on Netflix.

"When we say WWE goes big, we mean it. The first #WWERAW of the @netflix Era will be at the @IntuitDome in Los Angeles on January 6th, and @trvisXX will be there live and in person. The countdown is on…" wrote Triple H.

Will WWE RAW continue with the two-hour format on Netflix?

While the company switched to a two-hour format for Monday Night RAW after their long-term deal with the USA Network ended, the show’s move to Netflix might turn things around once again. A recent update from PWInsider suggested that the red brand will move to its traditional three-hour format soon.

Not only that, but Friday Night Smackdown on the USA Network will also switch to three hours of programming for a few months. A report from WrestleVotes suggested that the blue brand will switch to a three-hour format until the first week of June.

With both shows likely switching to a three-hour format, a reassigned roster might be expected by fans. While this reveals a lot about the changes coming up, official details are still awaited from the Stamford-based company.
