Former WWE writer claims Triple H and Tony Khan keep making the same mistake as bookers

Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently suggested that WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H and AEW President Tony Khan keep making the same mistake as bookers.

Speaking on Sportkeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the veteran stated neither Triple H nor Tony Khan were writers. He added that character traits needed to be established for stars on television to get the audience invested.

"The two guys in charge are not writers," Russo said. "Hunter [Triple H] is not a writer. Tony Khan is not a writer. You've got to write characters and they've gotta have character traits and you gotta keep pounding those character traits home and you see those character traits in storylines. You can't see character traits in the ring." [8:05 – 8:31]
