Triple H confirms that Bash in Berlin has broken major WWE record
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H recently confirmed that the Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event has broken a major record. The show, scheduled to air live from Uber Arena in Berlin, is the Stamford-based company's first-ever PLE in Germany.
2024 has witnessed WWE organize several premium live events outside The United States of America. The wrestling promotion has been selling out arenas for fun under the new regime.
Speaking to Byron Saxton during Countdown to WWE Bash in Berlin, Triple H claimed the global juggernaut is set to create some history tonight. He mentioned that the show will be the largest-grossing arena event in the company's history. The Game stated that the tickets for the show had been sold out.
"Now we are here 27 years later, it is massive tonight. We will have over 13,000 fans here, sold out. It is the hottest ticket in town and they are going to get an incredible event. We are going to make some history here tonight, Byron. If you've heard already, this will be the highest-grossing arena event in WWE history," he said.
Triple H further pointed out that WWE is set to break the record for the third time this year alone.
"It was a record that was set at Clash of the Castle in Scotland. It was broken by Lyon, France. So, excited for that. We're just setting records. We're having a tremendous year. 55 sell-outs in 2024 alone. This is our seventh international PLE for the year."

In addition to the multiple championship matches, Drew McIntyre and CM Punk will lock horns in a Strap Match at the premium live event. The two have been feuding since Royal Rumble, with The Scottish Warrior winning the first contest in their heated rivalry.
During the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, former WWE manager Dutch Mantell backed Drew McIntyre to replicate SummerSlam's result at Bash in Berlin and defeat The Best in the World.
"I don't know. I think we're going to go with McIntyre," Dutch Mantell said. [From 1:01:2o onwards]
CM Punk has featured in two strap matches throughout his career, having won on both occasions. It remains to be seen if The Second City Saint will maintain his unbeaten record.
