Triple H confirms massive star is making full-time return to WWE - "Letting the cat out of the bag"

Triple H has seemingly confirmed that a popular WWE personality is returning to the company as they prepare to move to Netflix next year. The Game revealed that Pat McAfee would be back in the commentary table for RAW from next year.

McAfee is one of the most entertaining on-screen performers in WWE, whose work at the broadcasting table over the last few years has won over the fans. However, owing to his tight schedule, he often takes breaks from the Stamford-based promotion. The 37-year-old personality has been away since August this year to fulfill his responsibilities as an analyst for ESPN's College GameDay.

Talking to USA Sports at the Netflix Media Day, Triple H revealed that Pat McAfee was close to making his return to WWE. He confirmed that McAfee would resume his role as the commentator for RAW when the show moves to RAW next year:

“Letting the cat out of the bag a little bit right now. Pat’s actually about to come back with us here, full-time on Monday Night RAW,"he said.

Triple H says WWE would remain family-friendly

During the same interaction, Triple H also addressed the rumors of WWE potentially moving away from its PG-13 programming as it moves to Netflix. He put that chatter to rest, saying the company would continue to cater to the younger demographic and create suitable programming for fans of all ages:

"For sure. I think it's what you want and expect out of WWE. It's not pushing anybody away from what they want, it's a safe place for families, for kids, for everybody to be able to view the programming. That will not change," he said.

Nick Khan, too, chimed in, adding that the promotion would not make many changes when it moves to the global streamer next year. Considering WWE has achieved massive levels of success with a family-friendly approach in the two last decades, it's not a surprise they don't want to deviate from their strategy.
