Triple H had four-word response to crowd when "Goldberg" and "Gunther" chants erupted ahead of Crown Jewel
WWE CCO Paul 'Triple H' Levesque had a tough time in Saudi Arabia ahead of Saturday's upcoming Crown Jewel Premium Live Event. The fans made it clear they are hoping to see Goldberg at the show.
WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg is no stranger to shows in Saudi Arabia, as some of his most notable matches during his second stint with the Stamford-based company took place in the Middle East. However, only time will tell whether the former Universal Champion shows up for the upcoming spectacle.
During the Crown Jewel Kickoff Show, Triple H was hyping up the headliner featuring Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. World Heavyweight Champion Gunther for the Crown Jewel Championship. When The Ring General's name was mentioned, the crowd began chanting "Goldberg" and "Gunther," to which The Game retorted with a four-word response.
"Sorry, Gunther went out," he said. [From 41:58 to 42:18]

Triple H seemingly was not sure how to respond to the fans in attendance. Perhaps the dream match a large section of the WWE Universe is clamoring for has not been set in stone yet.
Goldberg breaks silence since confronting Gunther; will he show up at WWE Crown Jewel?
At Bad Blood on October 5, Goldberg was in attendance with family. Gunther hit the ring to cut an unannounced promo, where he went on to ridicule the Hall of Famer. Things reached a breaking point for the veteran when The Ring General brought the former's son into the conversation. Although it seemed the two were going to brawl, Sami Zayn intervened and attacked the World Heavyweight Champion.
Speaking on the CarCast podcast, the 57-year-old veteran addressed his confrontation with The Ring General. However, he did not touch upon the rumblings among the WWE Universe regarding a potential first-ever showdown between the two heavyweights.
"So, what started out to be an innocent attendance of a pay-per-view turned out to be being insulted by one of their current champions. I don't care where we were, I would've done the same thing. It being in Atlanta, mainly kind of like my adoptive hometown. You know, I ain't dead yet. Come on, as long as I'm breathing, don't ever talk about me, especially my family. That was it. It was nothing more than that," he said.

Despite the segment at Bad Blood being cited as a raging success, a recent report seemingly has quashed rumors about Goldberg's first match in WWE since early 2022.
According to the report, fans must keep their expectations in check to witness the legend at Crown Jewel. This does not necessarily mean that the bout will never happen, but an appearance this weekend is less likely.
