Triple H gave 2-time WWE champions "one hell of a pep talk" at WrestleMania 40, recalls Bully Ray

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray recently spilled the tea on a backstage moment at WrestleMania 40. The veteran shared that Triple H pumped up former RAW Tag Team Champion and NXT Tag Team Champion, The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar), with a super motivational speech before their big match.

At this year's Showcase of The Immortals, the duo of The Final Testament alongside Karrion Kross faced Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) in a Six-Man Tag Team Philadelphia Street Fight. Interestingly, Bully Ray served as the special guest referee for the aforementioned match.

Speaking on an episode of Busted Open Radio, the 52-year-old WWE legend painted a picture where The Game encouraged Akam and Rezar to dominate whatever challenge they faced next in the ring.

"I watched [Paul Levesque] go up to AOP and give them one hell of a pep talk. Basically, [he was] telling them, 'Force me to push you!' I watched him go up to them and try to get into them, and basically say, 'Give me a reason. Go out there. Steal the show. Do something!'" Ray said. (H/T: Wrestling Inc.)

Despite Triple H's pre-match powerhouse inspiration, The Final Testament failed to secure a win over the Lashley-led faction, The Pride.

Jordynne Grace was surprised by Triple H's message after she appeared on WWE NXT

Reigning TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace appeared on NXT two weeks ago as Roxanne Perez's next challenger. The Prodigy is set to defend her NXT Women's Championship against Last Pure Athlete at Battleground on June 9 at UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

In a recent interview with THREADS, Grace recalled being surprised by The Cerebral Assassin's tweet for her when she scrolled through her phone.

"I was backstage yesterday, and I was just scrolling on my phone, and whether it's from, you know, Triple H's personal account or whether someone runs it for him, I saw a tweet come up from him, where he tweeted something like, 'If you haven't seen the TNA Knockouts before, you're in for a treat,' and I was just like, [acts surprised] 'What is even happening right now?'" she said.
