Triple H is the greatest wrestler of all time in one key area, WWE legend says
Triple H is among the most decorated WWE Superstars of the last 25 years. One of his closest friends, two-time Hall of Famer Kevin Nash, recently gave his take on The Game's success in the wrestling business.
In 2022, Triple H replaced his father-in-law Vince McMahon as WWE's creative figurehead after working in the same role in NXT for a decade. Before that, he cemented his status as a main-event star and one of WWE's all-time greats.
Nash said on his Kliq This podcast that fans are right to regard Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair as two of the greatest of all time. However, from a business perspective, he thinks that honor belongs to Triple H:
"Who's the greatest of all time is just like, you know, absolutely there's the 1A, 1B, whether you're a Flair guy or you're a Hogan guy, and then there's the f***ing business aspect guy, and I say that the best run of anybody would be Triple H, from all standpoints of the business. There's no comparison," Nash stated. [1:46:35 – 1:47:10]
Nash and Triple H were part of The Kliq in the 1990s. Scott Hall, Sean Waltman, and Shawn Michaels were also members of the backstage group of friends.

Before replacing Vince McMahon, Triple H received praise from fans for his ability to build characters and tell long-term storylines in the NXT developmental brand.
Kevin Nash thinks the 14-time world champion has significantly improved the on-screen product over the last two years. He also referenced McMahon's short-lived return as WWE's Executive Chairman in 2023, which led to speculation about Triple H's creative role:
"He's so good at what he does on a daily basis," Nash said. "As soon as he got his hands on the controls, s**t changed and the product was just night and day. Vince almost tried to kibosh it and they went through all that s**t again." [1:47:19 – 1:47:44]
Nash also addressed what would have happened to Triple H if McMahon regained creative power.
