Triple H makes huge sudden appearance in era-defining episode of WWE SmackDown

WWE decided to bring out Chief Content Officer Triple H himself to start the SmackDown Premiere on USA Network. The blue brand hosted its first show on a Network other than FOX in the last five years.

The show is going to be on USA Network in the future, while RAW goes to Netflix and NXT goes to The CW.

Triple H was the first one to appear on the show, coming out to greet the audience as the new era of SmackDown got underway. Things were already momentous with a new theme and more for the show.

The Game spoke about how 25 years ago he had been going one-on-one with the Rock to start WWE SmackDown. Now, he could not believe that it was time that they were kicking off a new era of SmackDown with the new era of the show on USA Network. He welcomed the fans in attendance to the show.

"Seattle, are you ready? Then welcome to SmackDown!"

He then announced that there was no better way for the show to kick off than the Steel Cage match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa for the WWE Championship.

He left as the Tribal Chief and the Undisputed WWE Champion made their way to the ring.
