Triple H meets 22-year veteran WWE name one day before Money in the Bank; mentions "old friend"

Triple H is the leading name controlling WWE creative at the moment, ever since Vince McMahon took a step back from his role in the company. He has made several changes since then, including bringing back several stars who had been released previously. Before SmackDown today, he met another "old friend" of his.

Jimmy Korderas is an ex-WWE name who worked as an official for the company for 22 years. He was employed by the promotion between 1987 and 2009. He was part of several top matches as the referee and was a regular. Korderas is thus very familiar with Triple H, having seen him arrive in WWE and then become a main event star.

Before WWE SmackDown and a day before Money in the Bank, Korderas was spotted with Triple H. The Game took a picture together with the veteran and said that it was "good to see an old friend."

Korderas is unlikely to come back as a referee any time soon, as he has been spending time with his wife and family since leaving the company and working in broadcasting. He was also a part of the Aftermath television program until the show was canceled in 2021.

It remains to be seen, however, if Korderas ends up playing any part in any WWE program over the weekend given his fame as an official.
